Fun Spanish with hablas palabras using Karaoke, games and a dance-mat

Our goal

At hablas palabras our goal is simple - to introduce Spanish to children of all ages in a fun and rewarding way by:

using interactive and inspirational learning styles such as dancemats and karaoke along with more traditional activities
entertaining, stimulating and motivating your child to learn new words and useful phrases
encouraging your child to read, write, speak and understand in Spanish

We hope to be part of your child's Lifelong Learning and will encourage them to develop an enthusiasm for learning a second language
at an early age. This will give your child a real advantage at school and on holiday and should also help to build their confidence, make
them a little more independent and encourage them to feel a sense of pride in their achievements.

Our experience

hablas palabras is a Dunblane based business run by Val Storrie who has the following experience:

an MA Joint Honours degree in Spanish and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen
a year spent at the Universidad de Deusto, San Sebastian, in the Basque Country as part of her degree
business Spanish experience from Spanish customer account management responsibilities at both Diageo, the world's leading premium drinks company, and Devro, the world's leading manufacturer of collagen products for the food industry

Val is passionate about the Spanish language and has an infectiously enthusiastic manner. She loves teaching Spanish to children and is a mum herself to four: Lucy born in June 04; Fraser born in November 05; and twins, Cara and Dougie, born in August 07.

Disclosure Scotland has carried out and approved an Enhanced Disclosure check on Val Storrie. hablas palabras has public liability insurance with a £1m indemnity.
